The majority of the GHIC Health Plan options begin with preventive care to maintain clients’ health which offers 100% coverage for preventive care services through the network of providers.

Preferred Health Provider (PHP) Network

GHIC health care benefit plans are categorized into five (5) provider network types: Standard, Standard Plus, Premium, Premium Plus and Premium Plus Plus Providers.

The larger the network, the more doctors and drugstores there are in that network. Larger networks tend to have fewer limits when you need to find a doctor or prescription drugs. But it also means the health plan may cost more.
